Hit-man Victor Maynard is proud of his family’s tradition in the profession, and is endlessly reminded of his heritage by his interfering mother. When he has problems completing a contract on Rose he is very annoyed to find another company brought in to complete the job. Impulsively defending his former target he finds he is now in danger himself. This is new territory for him – protecting a kleptomaniac wild cannon, or, to put it another way, a head-strong but very attractive young lady.

- Plots: Victor Maynard is a middle-aged, solitary assassin, who lives to please his formidable mother, despite his own peerless reputation for lethal efficiency. Well, in contrast to the first review, i felt that this was a hilariously funny attribute to the British film industry. With continuous amusing modern slap stick humour throughout.
I had been looking forward to the release of this film for a while, and it was far better than i had ever expected. The cinema was packed and everyone was laughing throughout the entire film, which in my experience is very rare.
There is an incredible cast containing many well known British actors/ actresses, overall a must see film.

I must say that this was one of the best (funiest) films that I have seen in a very long time. Bill Nighy, Emily Blunt play there roles superbly. I laughed all the way through it. I would recommend this film to anyone who needs a momentary lift.
